On 19 November 2023, Café Maa invites you to enjoy the last day of Juslin Maunula’s Jumble exhibition around a tasty zero-waste brunch.

Like the Jumble collection, which creatively gives new life to discarded materials, we have imagined a modern culinary event, both delicious and more respectful of our environment. 

Behind Jumble is a long experimental process with each material: “What results will we get if we paint it, if it is extensible, if we turn it in that direction? We manipulate it and try to find innovative solutions to style it at our convenience” (Lilli Maunula). Similarly, Café Maa’s chef chose for this brunch to approach the zero waste philosophy as a creative opportunity rather than a constraint, a chance to rethink our food consumption.

Café Maa aspires to promote sustainable gastronomy through the use of fresh, local and organic produce, while presenting Finnish food culture in Paris. This brunch will be a chance to enjoy specialties such as kasvispiirakka (vegetable pie), vispipuuro (lingonberry cream) and voisilmäpulla (cardamom bun) among other things.
