Free event at 33, rue du Sommerard

On Thursday 30 May 2024, let’s take over the Rue du Sommerard for a unique Block party!

The Block Party brings the party to the street. The event will have street dance battles and demonstrations by Finnish and French dancers, DJ sets and an open-air dance floor. Everyone is welcome to join!

The event is part of our Ensemble ! programme, which celebrates the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games by exploring the theme of togetherness. This year, breaking – a form of street dance – has been officially recognised as an Olympic sport, and we wanted to organise an event all about street dance with experts in the field. The evening will aim to bring people together, inviting them to explore dance in an easy-going and fun way.

Join us at 33, rue du Sommerard, 75005 Paris from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on 30 May. Please note that the event space is limited.

Full programme coming soon. Follow us to make sure you don’t miss a thing!

The event is open to all and follows the principles for a safer space.

If possible, please use public transportation to arrive at the venue. Use reusable water bottles and avoid littering.
Stations: Cluny-La Sorbonne (métro 10), St Michel (métro 4), Odéon (métro 4), RER B et C Saint-Michel Notre Dame

The project is part of the pARTir initiative funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
